Sorry, i'm not expert by using diff... Here's a new patch containing script in
contrib/ directory.
Maybe you should at least bundle the script with the package.

What are other supported platforms besides of slackware, slamd64 and
bluewhite64? Every ***decent*** linux distribution has a way to figure out
it's name and version. If you think that this implementation is not
sufficient, i can add detection for others :)
I think that we must add something like this. When you add new source to
apt-get's sources-list apt-get will show you only packages for your
platform... The same is with zypper and yum.

I really don't care about this feature, it's just funny that slapt-get, which
want's to be something like apt-get, yum or zypper uses different command
line. As i said before, this is not issue to me, just a "candy".
However, is it in your interest to support feature like this?
