[Slapt-get-user] installing from files?

I tried using --installpkg but it acted like this wasn't a valid command
and gave the help file. I tried moving the file into
/var/slapt-get/slackware/extras/office but got the error "No such package".

Pkgtool isn't able to find the packages (.tgz files) in that directory
either.
