[Slapt-get-user] error 404

That usually indicates the PACKAGES.TXT was updated but the rest of the packages have yet to
sync.  Shouldn't be a long term thing.  What sources have you tried? 
http://www.slackware.at/data/slackware-11.0/ seems to be working ok.
