While executing slapt-get --update && slapt-get --update (current
version of slapt-get, slackware version 12.2.0), I get:

<snip>
The following packages will be upgraded:
  irssi
1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 10 not upgraded.
Need to get 1.2MB of archives.
After unpacking 40.0kB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue? [y/N] n
Abort.
root at matrix:~# slapt-get --search irssi
irssi-0.8.12-i486-2 [inst=no]: irssi (Internet Relay Chat client)
irssi-0.8.14-i486-2 [inst=yes]: (null)

I built and installed irssi-0.8.14-i486-2 as a slackware pkg. Since
the newer, installed version should override the one available, why
doesn't this appear to be the case?
