There was/is nothing wrong with using a screenshot. But sometimes, I

actually want and need text instead. I can edit text, not a screenshot.

But I would and will be very pleased if you do decide to provide the

ability to copy text from the Common tab.<br>

And I'm pretty certain you don't want to do this. Because I doubt you

haven't thought or heard this before. But I would really like to have a

tab which shows the complete contents of the package info in

/var/log/packages. Of special interest here, is the file contents. It

would be nice not having to use pkgtool or Webmin to see what files are

actually in each package. That's just one of the many things I like

about using Webmin. You can actually not only find files on your system

quickly, you can also view and in some cases edit the content of them

as well. And I mean this for packages. It's just that you have to use

your browser to get that. I think gslapt would jump way ahead by doing

the same thing.<br>

And really, I'm sorry for pestering you about the version issue. You're

right. I've had a different perspective and expectations based on it,

coming from having used programs like yum for rpm, emerge for Gentoo,

apt for Debian and the like. I guess I would like to have the option

not to see the most recently released package, if it's not an upgrade

from any installed.<br>

Oh yes. One more thing. Recently, I've seen an increase in packages

(even official Slackware packages, for KDE4) that are using

capitalization in their names. And as you know Linux is Case sensitive.

However, gslapt will fortunately find any packages with the same word

in them from the search box, even if they're not the same package. But

now that we have many occurrences of one package, with different cases,

you can inadvertently install another copy of the same thing. It would

be nice if gslapt would show all packages with the same name, whether

they are capitalized or not. It would immediately resolve any issues of

duplication and conflicts that may/will be caused by this.<br>
