Hi, Jason!

 Can you make slapt-src --show recognize name:version notation? E.g. `slapt-src --show tp_smapi:0.40`.

Also I propose changing 'SLACKBUILD SHORT DESCRIPTION' in slackbuilds_data to 'SLACKBUILD DESCRIPTION', so user can see full description of the package if he wants to. May be slapt-src could show short description on `slapt-src --show` and full description on `slapt-src --show --verbose`. Or alternatively slapt-src could fetch full description from remote server if something like --verbose specified on a command line. At present I forced to do awful things -- if I don't understand what the package for from short description, I open my web browser and go to ftp://ftp.slackbuilds.org/ looking for corresponding slack-desc and READMEs. I think it is better to get full package description from slapt-src itself.
