[Slapt-get-user] slapt-get and dependencies

Hello.
Great work mr. Woodward.

I used slackware 10.0 and used "swaret" (don't beat me :) ).
I have read many good things about slapt-get and i tried it.
So i upgraded from 10.0 to current.
i did "slapt-get --update" and "slapt-get --upgrade".
Everything went ok.
(P.S I use slapt-get 0.9.9f CVS version)

When everything completed i was returned to my shell prompt without any
error, so i guessed
everything completed ok (I did not use --no-dep so i guess slapt-get checked
for dependencies)

Unfortunately though, i had the issue many people mentioned in the list.
slapt-get upgraded libcurl
from "-10.0" to "-current" and libcurl needed libidn. So nothing that needs
libcurl (including
slapt-get) worked.
Also the "-current" php is compiled against mhash.

When i tried "swaret --dep" i got the following result.
curl-7.12.2-i486-1 (libidn.so.11) requires at least libidn-0.5.8-i486-1!
php-4.3.10-i486-1 (libmhash.so.2) requires at least mhash-0.9.1-i486-1!
slapt-get-0.9.9f-i386-1 (libidn.so.11) requires at least
libidn-0.5.8-i486-1!

Since i didn't use "--no-dep" shouldn't slapt-get find that curl needed
libidn ?
I don't want to start a swaret vs slapt-get thread. I just ask because i had
this doubt about
the dependencies. (Maybe, slackware should mention in the packages.txt that
now curl needs libidn
and it isn't slapt-get's fault)

Anyway, i think that a slow find/ldd "--dep" target for now and then
checking would be a good
addition.

Thank you for your time.
