Hi,

I just joined this list so that I could ask this question ;)

I wanted to upgrade to a new version of octave at linuxpackages.net so I
checked my slapt-getrc and then I did:

16% slapt-get --update
17% slapt-get --search octave
octave_forge-2005.06.13-i486-1rsa [inst=no]: octave_forge (User contributed functions for Octave)
octave-2.1.73-i486-1rsa [inst=yes]: GNU Octave (A high-level language similar to Matlab)

I can do

15% wget ftp://linuxpackages.inode.at/Slackware-10.2/ananda/octave-2.1.73-i486-2rsa.tgz

so why doesn't slapt-get see the new version octave-2.1.73-i486-2rsa.tgz??

What am I missing?

Regards
Per
