Hi,

> However, I would like to report that slapt-get doesn't seem to be able to handle the
"X_slackXX.X" build numbers that PV has been using for the latest apache and mod_ssl patches.
In fact, I have downloaded the patches myself, renamed them to a plain "*-X.tgz", built my
CHECKSUMS.md5 and PACKAGES.TXT, and now slapt-get does recognize them as available upgrades.
BTW, I am using the default slapt-get EXCLUDE list.

What version of slapt-get are you using?

# slapt-get --version
slapt-get version 0.9.11b

# slapt-get --installed | grep mod_ssl
mod_ssl-2.8.24_1.3.33-i486-1 [inst=yes]: mod_ssl (Apache module for SSL)

# slapt-get --install mod_ssl -s
Reading Package Lists... Done
The following packages will be upgraded:
  mod_ssl
1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 477kB of archives.
After unpacking 0kB of additional disk space will be used.
mod_ssl-2.8.24_1.3.33-i486-1 is to be upgraded to version 2.8.26_1.3.35-i486-1
Done

take care,
jason
