Hi all,

I wanted to upgrade the last few days of changes in the Slackware ChangeLog.
In my slapt-getrc I have:

  EXCLUDE=^kernel-.*,^alsa-.*,^glibc.*,.*-[0-9]dl$,^devs$,^udev$,aaa_elflibs,x86_64,^tar$,^lvm$

and when I do "slapt-get --dist-upgrade -S" I get:

   root at galaxy:~# slapt-get --dist-upgrade -S
   Reading Package Lists... Done
The following packages have been EXCLUDED:
     aaa_elflibs devs glibc-zoneinfo kernel-ide kernel-modules tar udev
     kernel-headers kernel-source alsa-driver glibc glibc-i18n glibc-profile
The following packages will be upgraded:
     glibc-solibs module-init-tools openssl-solibs sysvinit diffutils libwpd imapd
openssl stunnel git mozilla-firefox mozilla-thunderbird libnjb amarok
     seamonkey pkgconfig libmtp
17 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 13 not upgraded.
Need to get 66MB of archives.
After unpacking 260kB of additional disk space will be used.

As you can see I'm excluding ^glibc.* and so glibc-zoneinfo, glibc, glibc-i18n and
glibc-profile will not be included. However for some reason glibc-solibs is in the
list of packages to be updated. As far as I'm aware this was not so in the past.
I'm using slapt-get-0.9.11e-i386-1.

Does anybody else have the same problem? Am I perhaps missing a technical detail
that says "it works as intended"?

Regards
Per
