Hi Roberto,
> a few days ago I have upgraded both to Slackware-current and cpan2tgz 0.6.2; now, whenever I
try to run cpan2tgz I get the following error messages:
>
> Use of bare << to mean <<"" is deprecated at /usr/bin/cpan2tgz line 161.
> Use of bare << to mean <<"" is deprecated at /usr/bin/cpan2tgz line 166.
> Unrecognized escape \w passed through at /usr/bin/cpan2tgz line 166.
> Bareword "cpan2tgz" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at /usr/bin/cpan2tgz line 161.
> syntax error at /usr/bin/cpan2tgz line 172, near "} elsif"

verify whether the problem is related to the upgrade to slackware-current, but if you need more
information I'll be happy to help.
That was a bad package, built from a bad working directory. I uploaded a new -2 build last
