[Slapt-get-user] iv just downloaded and i think installed version 0.9.8a

Thanks for helping me but i think i might not of
installed it properly because when i type those
commands you gave me it said command not recognised
itn was a gz file extension so i typed "gzip -d
swaret-1.6.2-noarch-1.tar.tgz" which got rid of the
"tgz"that left me with a file called any chance on
some help

"swaret-1.6.2-noarch-1.tar.tar"

i then type "tar xvf swaret-1.6.2-noarch-1.tar.tar"

but nothing happens
